Vladimir Bachinsky - VLADIMIR BACHINSKY is a well-known artist and teacher of painting in Saugerties, N.Y., in Taos, N.M., and in Florida. A graduate of Pratt Institute in 1958, he also studied art at N.Y.U., the National Academy of Design, and the Bell'Arte of Rome. In his youth he studied ballet for seven years with DeZavarichin in Germany, and danced and acted vaudeville-style in dance camps. When he came to the U.S., he studied under Avramenko in N.Y.C. He kept up his interest in theatre arts directing four full-length feature films in Canada between 1965 and 1971.
