Anne Hebard - ANNE HEBARD began her teaching career at the Arts Education Trust in London, and was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance’s most treasured prize, The Advanced Teachers Certificate of Dancing with Honors.  After coming to America, Rebekah Harkness invited her to join the faculty of Harkness House of Ballet where she taught for almost a decade.

In 1973 she opened her own School of Ballet in Kingston, N.Y. and soon after joined the teaching staff of the David Howard School of Ballet in N.Y.C.  She is a guest teacher, choreographer and lecturer at major universities and ballet companies throughout the United States.  In 1981 she became Artistic Director of the Catskill Ballet Theatre in upstate New York.  She is a guest teacher at the famous Bejart Ballet School in Lausanne, Switzerland and was teacher for the Bejart Ballet Company during its tour of Japan in the spring of 1996.  Also in 1996, she was presented with the Apple Award for Education from the Kingston Teachers Federation.

Anne Hebard has had the pleasure of seeing her pupils join such companies as the American Ballet Theatre, Bejart Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and the Royal Ballet to name a few.  In June 2000, Anne was a Master Teacher and lecturer for the First International Congress on Dance in Monterey, Mexico.  She was recently recognized by the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts.
